Ordered these dumbells because I needed to add some extra weight to my workout regimen. So glad I did because at $259.99(plus free shipping and no tax which was also great) and for half the price of the bowflex and other selectable type dumbells these were just what I needed. I definitely liked that they were chrome plated which made them look very stylish and the fact that these go up to 100lbs each made me very happy I bought these. If you don't mind switching the plates off to change weight then definitely order these. The only issue is if you live in the U.S. you will have to wait a few extra days because these come from Canada and they have to be cleared in customs first which will most likely be the reason you wonder why they didn't arrive by the arrival date shown when you purchased them. Also, these don't ship as one big package if your wondering but come as 5 seperate packages weighing about 40 pounds each which made them easy to carry up my stairs. All in all, very very happy with this purchase.

Yeah they work as much as you use them!!! Buy them, for the amount of weight you get for this price what more could you ask for?

These are good dumbells,the slight machine oil smell vacated within a few hours of opening, but the chrome is flaking off. Were pleased overall with them. They arrived ahead of schedule. They do the trick for what I needed. I recommend if your looking for a good priced set.
